Since 2001, Hamilton Trap Club has focused on the future of the shooting sports, our kids. Each spring the club offers a Youth League program thanks to members volunteering to be coaches and club member`s financial support.

The program, centered on the national ATA Scholastic Clay Target Program, has grown each year and we have been able to offer kids a safe and healthy alternative to bad choices plus ensure the future of our club and the sport itself.

Our six week program offers our youth the chance to learn sportsmanship, firearm safety, team building skills and a sport for life. We strive to keep the cost affordable to everyone with the club subsidizing the majority of the program.

Hamilton Trap Club is proud of our kids, coaches and members for being a part of a great opportunity for our community.

HTC Youth League Coaches can be proud of the work they did this year. In all, twelve youth shooters attended the state shoot and all did extremely well.

The second high school team comprised of Rustin Slaughter, Nick Pollman, Shaun Loya and Jeremy Hinson took Third Place in their division and experienced some of their best personal scores. Riley Slaughter, Christopher Driemeyer and Cody Driemeyer were classified in the Junior High Division.

There were many highs and lows to the competition including heat, broken guns and getting up before dawn, but all had fun, practiced what they had learned at league and did their home club proud.

Hamilton Trap Club is proud to support such a wonderful program.

On behalf of the HTC board, members and kids we sincerely thank our sponsors and coaches for their continued support of a great youth program that gives our kids a safe and healthy alternative to bad choices!
